About Westfair Christian Academy
Westfair Christian Academy provides Christian education for children grades Pre-K through 12th grade. We currently serve 11 different communities in 6 counties right here in Central Illinois and have been doing so for over 40 years. WCA is committed to providing an affordable, faith-based, quality education to the multiple communities it serves.
We are an Illinois State Board of Education recognized school and affiliated with ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International), National Honor Society and National Association of Student Councils.
Some of our school objectives are:
- to develop each student’s God given abilities
- integrate the Bible in all subject matter
- provide a solid academic curriculum
- develop critical thinking
- teach that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, gave His life for sinful man
- teach that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God
- grow in the Lord through fellowship with Him in prayer, service and reading of His Word.
We offer smaller class sizes to help provide the best education possible.
Westfair Christian Academy has a great group of parent volunteers who help with classroom parties, field trips, reading programs, tutoring, athletic coaching, fundraising, lunch room duties, computer time, library time and much more. We love to see the parents get involved and grow with the students spiritually.
WCA has a parent organization called PTF (Parent Teacher Fellowship). This is a group of active parents who meet monthly to support the Academy through fundraising. They are also active in promoting the school and organizing events. Their involvement is critical to see the school flourish.
Our school offers a healthy lunch program. It is a hot lunch program that serves healthy and fresh food daily. We do not offer junk food in the lunch line. This way we can promote healthy eating and fuel for the children to finish out their day. We have a state approved cafeteria and meet all codes and guidelines required by the State of Illinois.
